Next edition of Kulinarna Akcja Bezpośrednia (Culinary Direct Action) will be organised on Saturday, 25th of January. The meeting will be held at Bistro Piąta Świartka at Arkady Kubickiego and will be dedicated to butter. We will learn how the butter is made, what are the different kinds of butter, what determines its aroma, texture and hardness, which one is the best. The invited guests will familiarize us with different aspects of butter. Doctor Wojciech Feleszko, will talk about its impact on health, Mirosław Sienkiewicz, dairy technologist will compare ways of producing butter in small and large dairies, Maciej Góralski from Museum of Azja and Pacific will explain the role of butter in traditional medicine. The meeting will be lead by Agnieszka Kręglicka. Participants will be able to make their own butter. As usual during events organised by Slow Food Warszawa, children will be able to take part in food activities prepared especially for them.
